Since it was founded, the company has always applied a quality management system, with continuous tests on materials, on semi-finished products at every manufacturing stage and on the final product, with internal compliance reports. This allowed it to be one of the first companies in Italy to obtain, as early as 1998, the ISO:9001 certification (certificate No. 12) 1° in the footwear industry. Furthermore, it was one of the first company in the footwear sector to obtain the ISO:14001 Environmental certification in 2013 thanks to its commitment to reducing atmospheric emissions and promoting the healthiness of the workplace. The premises are freed from asbestos and fully air-conditioned by using heat pumps powered by a photovoltaic system: this has made the company independent in energy terms thus eliminating CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
In 2011, the company was awarded the prestigious PREMIO ETICO (Ethical Prize) for the emphasis placed on the workers' wellbeing, also thanks to continuous and accurate medical surveillance. The company has recently obtained the SA8000 Ethical Certification, a worldwide recognized standard that rewards companies that have distinguished themselves for their commitment to sustainable development with particular attention to social issues.
